Day 1:

Today I decided that I should start a journal to recount what I did today...

So, I guess I should start with my name.

Hello, my name is Queen Hatshepsut and I was a Lady Pharaoh in Ancient Egypt. I have only started my reign today and it is 1492 BCE.

I am getting married tomorrow to my half brother Thutmose II. I need to marry him so that way I can get the throne and own it. Everyone thinks that I am a god or something... I just need t stay calmand hold my head high whilst all this is happening.

Day 2:

Thutmose II is starting to driving me mad! I need to rule over this world by myself. Egypt should all belong to me and not to my half idiot brother Thutmose II... Started my tour around my "house". It is massive and perfectly made for a queen. I am loving my life. except Thutmose being part of it. How would anyone be able to get rid of him? Oh well... I will just have to live with it I guess. I'll get over it eventually. I don't know which God I should believe in. At the moment I'm in my room and I have a major headache. Whatever, there is no cure for it at the moment. Gotta go have lie down.

Day 3:

I couldn't believe it, my maids are so pretty. It's as if they were from another planet. They always help me and make it look so easy and yet they do it in a breeze. Why can't I help them and pay them more than they already earn. They really deserve it. Why don't I help them. They need it. Thutmose is coming.. Gotta go... Talk to you later diary.
